A social entrepreneur : MIKI AGRAWAL

Miki Agrawal is a hard-working woman who always thinks to do something new for the world. She is indeed a woman behind some of the most innovative social enterprises like TUSHY, THINX, ICON, and WILD. The world recognises her as one of the Fast Company’s Most Creative People of 2018. And also one of INC’s Most Impressive Women Entrepreneurs.

She was born on the 26th of January 1979 in Canada. She belongs in a Half Japanese and half Indian family. Entrepreneur Radha Agrawal is her twin sister.

Her recent venture TUSHY seeks to reduce the eye-popping waste associated with the American Bathroom experience. It is a modern, affordable, and designer bidet attachment which upgrades human health and hygiene: her team and she are fighting for the global sanitation.

THINX is Mikis one of the project which she founded with her sister. THINX is period-proof underwear. It helps so many women in NYC. After Miki became the CEO of the company, the valuation became worth $100 Million. But later, she left the CEO for a Sexual Allegation against her.

Miki wrote two books also. Each one of these became no1 seller in Amazon. Miki wrote her second book Disrupt-Her: A Manifesto for the Modern Woman, three months before she became the mother of a son. This book has 300 pages. Ten thousand copies of this book sold in between one week.

In this book, she revealed so many issues related to the allegation. She wrote that she always denies any wrongdoing, but later an Investigation Commission led by THINX found that the charge had NO LEGAl MERIT. Very soon, the complaint filed with the New York Commission on Human Rights had withdrawn.
